On Saturday, August 15, Maria Konovalenko led a first-ever political action near the White House in Washington DC, demanding funding for life extension research.
She was joined by Alexei Turchin, Mikhail Batin, and two other members of the Longevity Party. The group waved slogans about radical life extension funding, immortality, and a “roadmap” to personal immortality that explained in detail the Longevity Party believes should be done.

The roadmap to personal immortality indicates this course of action:
Plan A: Defeat Aging (the best possible option). This requires two things - your personal actions like regular medical checkups, plus collective actions like civic activism and funding of scientific research.
Plan B: Cryonics. To accomplish this, call your nearest cryo-company and obtain a contract.
Plan C: Digital Immortality. The idea that you could be returned to life based on recorded information about you. This has problems… we are not sure how to solve identity problems that will arise, plus we don’t know if collected amount of information is enough.
Plan D: Just hope or bet that immortality already exists, via quantum immortality or perhaps a future AI will return us to life.
All the plans above demand actions now - we need to prepare for them simultaneously. The “roadmap” map is the political program of the Longevity Party - this is what we are going to do.
